INTLIZIYO LYRICS BY ZONKE DIKANA

Mhlawumbe sobuye si..sibonane
Noba ndingekaboni ukuthi mna ndenzeni na
Bathi masingahambi thina sitshis'ibhulorho
Kodwa ndiyayibona le ingamalahle

Ndizojonga le, ndijonge le
Ndizobheka le, ndibheke le

Yin lent'unje, yin lent'undona
Yin le ntliziyo igcwel'umoya
Yin lent'unje, yin lent'undona
Tyhin le ntliziyo indenz'intloni

Amazwi akho wona andothusile (thusile)
Uk'ngabuleli kwakho kuyandimangaza
Ndiz'buz'ukuthi ey...ndenzeni kangaka weh
Uzuhlal'usazi undophul'intliziyo...(lah lah lah lah)
Hamba ngale, nam ndiye le

Jonga ngale, nam nd'jonge le...(lah lah lah lah)
Yin lent'unje, yin lent'undona
Yin le ntliziyo igcwel'umoya
Yin lent'unje, yin lent'undona
Tyhin le ntliziyo indenz'intloni

Your tears, your fears, your dreams
Your tears, your pain, your care

Yin lent'unje, yin lent'undona
Yin le ntliziyo igcwel'umoya

MORE INFORMATION
Multiple award-winning Zonke Dikana is the creative mastermind behind some of Mzansi’s biggest hits. Her work as a songwriter spans the musical spectrum, including compositions for artists ranging from Tsepo Tshola to Afropop fave Winnie Khumalo. As a collaborator, she’s sung for, and alongside, the likes of spiritual healers like Thandiswa Mazwai and globetrotting exports à la Black Coffee. But it’s as producer that this Port Elizabeth-born, Jozi-based creator remains unacknowledged. Work of Heart, her fourth and arguably biggest body of work thus far, has her life force pumping through it. It’s evident when listening to Zonke’s music that this is a musician aware of the magnitude of responsibility she carries. She’s tapped into the might of Mhlongo, Makeba and Fassie to advance a musical cause that is true to self and essential, yet frequently overlooked.
