Kwaito music group Bongo Maffin have been steady front runners in the South African music industry for over two decades.
Lead singer, Thandiswa Mazwai has also pursued a successful solo career, releasing her first solo album Zabalaza in 2006.
The group recently reunited and have been teasing at the release of new music. Now, they have confirmed that on Friday, 2 November 2018, a brand-new single, titled ‘Harare’ will be released.
The single was debuted to listeners on various radio stations including Metro FM and Radio 2000 on Wednesday, 31 October 2018.
The track has been received seemingly well by fans. “Just heard Bongo’s Harare on Metro FM. Wow,” a fan commented on social media.
Bongo Maffin will perform at numerous live events over coming months, including the Blanket and Soul Experience at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens in Roodeport on Sunday, 25 November 2018.
