Muungu Africa is the pulse of African rhythm. The awesome trio of which two members (Bongo beats and Sindiswa) hail from a township called Soshanguve, North of Pretoria in South Africa and one member (lynol Siwela) from Zimbabwe. The song 'Lazaro' boasts elements of sounds from across the continent – a soulful Nigerian feel from Niniola, the unmistakable Zimbabwean guitar and the energy of South African dance queen Busiswa. It’s hardly surprising that the song has found its way into playlists in African countries. The original of the song was composed and released in Zimbabwe by Lynol sewela a member of Muungu Africa. The song was later remixed by various artists in and out of south Africa.
